	Fine Arts:
	The BCS Fine Arts program is made up of the music, art, and drama departments. Berks Christian School is a part of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) for art, band and chorus.
	Art:
		Our art department provides instruction for students Kindergarten to 12th grade in mediums such as painting, illustration, and 3-D sculpture, plus others. The studio is well equipped with materials, tools, pottery wheels, and a kiln.
	Band:
		Band instrument lessons, group or individual, are available beginning in 4th grade. Beginners enter band in the Spring, and participate in the Spring concert. Elementary Band includes grades 5 and 6. High School Band includes grades 7 through 12. Performances: Christmas concert Spring concert Competitions: ASCI Junior High and High School instrumental competitions PMEA District 10 Band Private lessons for piano and other musical instruments are available to students who wish to pursue them. We encourage every parent to consider music instruction for their child. There are many benefits to be gained such as self-discipline; but mainly it is fun. The lessons are given once weekly for 1/2 hour; the cost is $16 per lesson payable to the instructor.
	Chorus:
		Each student in K - 8th grade receives Music Appreciation each week. The elementary students present a Christmas choral musical each year. On the secondary level, there are opportunities to participate in Junior and Senior High Chorus. Middle School Chorus Mandatory for 6th and 8th grade Performs in the Christmas Concert and the Spring Concert Sr. High Chorus Sr. High Chorus is open to all students from 9th to 12th grade with a desire to glorify God with singing. Performs in the Christmas Concert and Spring Concert. Small ensembles and quartets are formed through an audition process. These select groups participate in the ACSI Fine Arts Festival as well as special performances throughout the year.
	Drama:
	Berks Christian Schools drama team, The King's Players, prepares for a major production every winter.
