FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 13TH IS DRESS DOWN DAY

berks Christian School sponsors several children through Compassion International. The primary way we raise funds to support these children is through our monthly Dress Down Days. Students are permitted to "dress down" (out of uniform, but following core dress code guidelines) if they also bring at least $2 to help support our Compassion children. Our first Compassion Dress Down Day is Friday, September 13th.

picture_day.jpg

Your child will be bringing home an envelope from Zerbe Studios with information about school pictures, scheduled for Tuesday, October 1. Please note that students may wear their uniforms or dress up. Girls that choose to dress up may wear modest dress slacks. They may also wear dresses or skirts that are not tight and no higher than the top of the knee cap in length. Also, slits in skirts should be no higher than the top of the knee cap. Blouses should not be tight, sleeveless, low cut, or see through. Boys should not wear jewelry or shirts without collars (no T-shirts). Thanks for your cooperation.

FAMILY VEHICLE NUMBERS

In an effort to promote safety, accountability, and a streamlined process, we are instituting a Family Vehicle Number policy. Your family has been assigned a number and has been provided with a card showing your number. Every time you pick up your child(ren), whether daily or only a few times during the year, you must show your GREEN number card through the car window. Having the card on your dashboard does not allow for our dismissal staff to be able to see it. If someone other than you is picking up your child(ren) they must have your family’s number card in order to claim your child(ren). If you would like more than one copy of your green number card, contact the school office to request one.

CAR LINE

REMINDER

In an effort to promote safety, accountability, and a streamlined process, every family MUST use the orange car number card and line up BEHIND the buses.  Do not pass the buses.

If you would like more than one copy of your green number card, contact the school office to request one.
