snow makeup day 42319.jpg

Due to our snow days, we no longer have off on Tuesday, April 23rd, which will now be a full day of school. District transportation offices are aware of this change, so you should receive normal transportation from your district unless you've been contacted by them and told otherwise.

Countdown to enrollment 3719.jpg

Remember to re-enroll by APRIL 1st if you want to pay the lowest re-enrollment price. Starting April 1st, prices will go up for re-enrollment. Contact the office if you have questions about the re-enrollment or financial aid process.

Financial Aid

Also remember that all returning families (that's you!) who are interested in financial aid must apply for aid by April 30th. You can apply for aid here tinyurl.com/BCSAid.

We also need to receive the following:
 - Yellow Parent Agreement Form

There is plenty of time to be in the running for our 3 big prizes, awarded to the 3 families who submit the most letters.

Prizes are:

2nd Place - $200 gift card
3rd Place - $100 gift card

You must submit at least 50 letters in order to be eligible for these prizes.

The final day to turn in letters to have them count towards your family’s total is Friday, May 2nd.

You can submit sponsorship requests via email by using this auto-email webpage we've set up.

Additionally, if you would like to take advantage of the Spanish version of our sponsorship letters this year or if you have questions regarding completing your letters, please contact Mrs Bromwell or the school office.

Volunteers are needed for the day of Serve-a-Thon, Tuesday, May 7th. If you are willing to be a driver for your child’s class, please let Beth Bromwell know as soon as possible.

If you are willing to help, please contact Phil Warner pwarner@berkschristian.org

Our coaches and athletes have been prepping all season for this moment, and we want you there to root* on our boys this Friday night. Here's how:

  • Purchase your advance tickets directly from BCS : adults @ $6 & students @ $3. BCS gets a bit of the ticket sales if you purchase through us, so call or email by Friday @ 3pm to reserve your ticket**.

  • Need a ride? 6th-12th graders may ride the bus, which will depart BCS @ 3:30pm and return approximately @ 9pm. Please email attendance@berkschristian.org by 12pm on Friday if your student is riding. prayer theme.jpg

This week MARCH 3 - MARCH 9, specifically, pray the following:

Growth in School Resources (Strategic Goal #2)

  • Pray for our Hallways of Hope scholarship program to be funded. Pray for the members of our Leadership Berks team as they development specific ideas of how to grow this program and include community members. Our goal is to fund 5 scholarships in the 19-20 school year.

  • Pray for the remaining $9,000 of the annual fund to be provided. Donors have faithfully given throughout the year and we are trusting the Lord to help us meet the entire goal by June 30.

  • Pray for the business owners of our current EITC partners and for other companies to join us.

A big thank you to all of the parents, friends, and family who donated items, helped prepare for the sale, spread the word, and worked the sale on Saturday! We saw a good turnout, felt a willing spirit among the helpers, and had a surprising revenue for our first sale. We are eager to allocate these funds for various projects and gifts to benefit our teachers! It was also our privilege to donate many gently used books to our teachers for their classrooms.

Our next meeting will be at 6:30 on Monday, April 8th.

Attention all moms, grandmoms, or spiritual moms of BCS students - you are invited to join us for any of our upcoming Moms in Prayer meetings, all held in the BCS music room. We will be meeting the second Saturday of each month, from 8-9 AM.

The dates for the rest of this year are:
Saturday March 9, 8-9 AM
Saturday April 13, 8-9 AM
Saturday May 11, 8-9 AM

Any questions, contact Carrie Warner, carrie.warner@gmail.com.
