Christmas Concert: December 13th

Our annual Christmas Concert is coming up on December 13th. We invite you to attend, and ask you to please read the following instructions carefully.

Instructions for Elementary:
Please wear dressy Christmas clothes and arrive by 6:30. Students in grades K through 3, report to your classroom. Students in grades 4 and 5, report to the library. After their performance, elementary students will sit with parents for the remainder of the concert.

Instructions for Middle and High School Performers:
Middle School and High School Choirs: Report at 6:30 PM to the cafeteria
Middle School and High School Bands: Report at 6:15 to the sanctuary
Middle School / High School Gentlemen dress code (band and choir): Black dress pants, black dress shoes, black socks, long-sleeve white dress shirt, tie (solid color or small print)
Middle School / High School Ladies dress code (band and choir): Solid white dress blouse (no sweaters or anything low cut), solid black skirt (knee length or longer, full length is preferred), black dress shoes, neutral colored nylons

MS / HS Choir and Band are performance-based classes and performances should be considered akin to a final exam. For this reason, attendance at the concert is mandatory. Unexcused absences will result in a significant drop in the grade (please see class syllabus for details). Any planned absences must be in writing and submitted to the BCS office before the concert.

Immediate Need: Host Families

We still have an urgent need for a few more host families to welcome international students from January 6th through March 15th. This gift of hospitality will enrich the students' experiences and will be an adventure your family will never forget. Five host families are needed for this program and host families will earn a stipend of $1,000. If you can open your home to a student this winter, please contact Rebekah Klase by emailing rklase@berkschristian.org.

All Families: Three-Question Survey about Church Attendance

We try to maintain active relationships within our community, specifically with the churches that our students attend. Since we know that families sometimes relocate or start attending a new church, we take time to update this info every few years. Please take a minute or two to complete this short survey (just three questions!) about your church attendance. Thanks in advance!
